A day of friends, dog walks and brunch make for a perfect way to Sunday! Today we met up with friends at a new local breakfast spot in Squamish called Fergie’s Café. It is in such a beautiful spot along the river, where after breakfast you can go for a stroll and watch the salmon jump and sore above. Even though we were only an hour outside of the city of Vancouver being in Squamish feels like an escape to nature. With the surrounding mountains everything feels so calm and peaceful.
This was my first time at Fergie’s Café it was about a 10-15 min from downtown Squamish. The building has a modern mountain feel with an open concept covered outdoor area. However, today was a bit chilly to be able to eat there so we got a table inside. Even though there were some amazing options on the menu, it was a quick decision on The Alpha Bowl; 1 soft poached egg, veggie fritter, paprika dressing, quinoa, yam, kale, avocado, seasonal vegetables and potato hash. The bowl was so delicious and very filling. Not only was the flavour and mix of vegetables a perfect morning start, it was the perfect mid-morning brunch.
My napkin review is 4.5 star⭐️!
Next time I visit once I’m done my #palntbasednovember group I’m going to try The Smoked Salmon Benny.
Hope you get to go and enjoy Fergie’s next time you are in Squamish.
Until next time.
